Bunnell . . . the Crossroads of Flagler County.

Incorporated as a city in 1913, Bunnell is the oldest city in the county and holds the county seat.  It throws a rodeo that would make any roper proud, Flagler County’s Cracker Day Rodeo in March and its Fair and Youth Show in April brings visitors and locals back to a taste of early hometown life.

In addition to calf roping and hog-tying, visitors to Flagler County will also find first class fresh water fishing and nature parks a plenty.  Oh and don’t forget to check out the Old Brick Road, a part of the Old Dixie Highway.  Haw Creek Preserve offers a beautiful park for bird watching, boating, picnicking and hiking.

The Holden House Museum, built in 1918 by Pharmacist Tom Holden, contains Flagler County’s history dating back to 1917.  Bunnell also offers numerous antique and thrift shops for visitors wishing to take home a piece of Flagler County history.

The Flagler Auditorium brings a touch of culture with this state of the art facility.  It opened its doors for its first season in 1991 with the London Symphony Orchestra Quartet.  Its Broadway series has offered performances from national touring groups including Can Can, Fiddler on the Roof, Annie and The King and I.
